As an educator, I have had the opportunity of teaching a diverse group of students (both in the classroom and online), including children who functioned below and above their learning abilities. Consequently, I have gained in-depth knowledge of accommodating different styles of learners and incorporating methods to meet each learner’s unique need. I have encouraged students learning by incorporating creative learning centres, various forms of technology and hands-on activities plus fun manipulatives. These methods thereby stimulated the children’s social emotional and academic growth while in my care.
I am well capable of working within a social environment and maintaining strong working relationships with parents and colleagues alike. I can send out periodic newsletters and disseminate information from the school to parents seamlessly. Furthermore, I establish a friendly relationship with my students and ensure that they receive sufficient praise and positive reinforcement.
