I am an experienced childcare provider. I provide guidance, supervision and training to children within daycare, school or private home settings.
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. Courses include phonetics, morphology, syntax, communication, semantics etc. All of which has been verified by WES.
The one-year diploma covered all courses in Education ranging from Pedagogy, Teaching methods, Guidance and counselling , educational technology etc.
My job role included maintaining a safe, warm and positive environment where parents and children felt welcomed and loved. I cared for 8 infants and toddlers during working hours and through extended hours. I observed and documented each childs' behaviour and progress to management and parents. Bathe, dress and prepared and fed healthy meals to the children as well as performed other house-keeping chores.
Worked under the Special Needs Education Cordinator in the capacity of assisting pupils with learning disability function with ease in the classroom. Supervised pupils in their classwork, homework, on the playground, library and field trips.
Adapt teaching methods to individual pupils' needs. Sing rhymes, dance and paint with the kids. Observe and evaluate pupils' performance, behaviour, social and physical abilities. Coordinate with teachers, support staff, management and parents to offer the best education possible.
First Aid Course covers Pediatric First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation for Children.
A Teacher Assistant course to aid children with learning disabilities who are in mainstream schools.
