Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Analyst

Purpose of Job

Working closely with the CEO of Bounce n Play 2, Itty Bitty Daycare and Preschool, IB International Employment Agency, and more.  The Social Media Analyst will develop and execute a social media strategy that integrates the company’s overall communications strategy. They will create and publish organic content, define and track key metrics, and provide insight on market trends, recommending strategies for continuous improvement on various businesses.

Main Activities:

  • End-to-end creation, execution, and monitoring of organic social media campaigns
  • Create daily social media posts with original copy and original or repurposed creative assets
  • Monitor industry and consumer-focused social media for key trends and make creative recommendations to improve brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and reach on social media channels
  • Define and track key performance metrics and recommend strategies for continuous improvement and to acquire new customers
  • Monitor activity on all social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.): posting, responding, and/or directing comments to relevant internal department
  • Listen and report on customer activity and overall sentiment
  • Analyze post and campaign performance and translate qualitative data into recommendations for revising social strategy
  • External networking to understand trends in the industry
  • Lead influencer campaigns and maintain influencer relationships

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

  • Diploma, bachelor’s degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
  • At least five (5) years’ experience leading and executing social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Extensive experience in social media content planning, development, and performance analysis
  • Extensive experience in writing and editing content for a variety of channels and with input from multiple contributors
  • Ability to prioritize and project manage multiple projects with above average attention to detail
  • Advanced writing skills with superior vocabulary, excellent grammar and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly craft short, compelling messages in an authentic voice that resonates with our audiences, driving engagement, sharing, click-through and conversions
  • Demonstrated expertise with social media tools, concepts, and best practices
  • Ability to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
